On God’s Playing Field: Jack Roosevelt Robinson’s turn at bat: January 31, 1919 – October 24, 1972. His memory, legacy and love for humanity are bequeathed to all the people of these United States of America in perpetuity.

Not too long before Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s death in 1968, he praised Mr. Robinson and attributed whatever success he had to him, noting, “Jackie Robinson made my success possible. Without him, I would never have been able to do what I did.”
